William Timothy Silow

Age 73 San Francisco, California

"Bill" passed away on August 16th. He was born in New York City but the
family moved to New Jersey when he was a child. He lived there till he
was 18. As a young boy he enjoyed putting together Hallicrafter Radio
sets and also loved fishing, hunting, and trapping. It was a bucolic
life.

He joined the Air Force and they found he had a brilliant mind. They
sent him to the Air Force Academy in Denver to study. He was sent to
Madrid to work on a project and so began his love of travel.

He attended the Heald School of Engineering and so started his career in
computers. He traveled the world working for various companies. He also
worked for TRW and Raytheon Industries.

He was predeceased by his father William. He is survived by his wife
Paloma of Madrid, two sons Colin and Nicholas, and his daughter,
Alexandra, also survived by his mother Nina and his sister Tina and two
nieces, Lisa and Lauren.Bill passed in August. He was a caring,
extremely intellectual, a adept man and someone who would go above and
beyond for those he held dear but struggled with his struggle with
addiction.
