ARTHUR WILLIAMS BEADLE JR., 77, of Palm Coast, Fla., formerly of MIDDLETOWN, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, at home. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He received degrees from Rider College and Rutgers University. He started his career as a high school business teacher in Middletown and continued his career at Brookdale Community College, Lincroft, where he retired in 1985. He was a member of Monmouth Lodge 172 F&AM and was master in 1980. He was a member of the Palm Coast Lions Club, former treasurer of VFW Palm Coast Post 8696; life member of Trinity Presbyterian Church of Palm Coast and served on the Flagler County Educational Foundation in Florida. He was a professional photographer for many years. Born in Morrisville, Pa., he lived in Middletown before moving to Palm Coast, Fla. in 1985.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Alma; three sons, Vernon of Toms River, David of Brick, and Michael of Palm Coast, Fla.; a daughter, Elizabeth DiMaiolo of Germantown, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 711 N. Pennsylvania, Morrisville, Pa. National Cremation Society, S. Daytona Beach, Fla., was in charge of arrangements.
