Willie passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 and was cremated. His ashes are to be interred at Military Cemetery. (I assume at Ft. Dix)
William A. Lesko
AGE: 73 Middletown
William A. Lesko, 73, a longtime resident of Middletown passed away Monday, July 9th, at his home. William was born in Irvington, the son of the late Andrew and Mildred Lesko. He moved to Port Monmouth as a child. William served in the U.S. Marines as a Lcpl from 1957- 1962 and then went on to serve in the Coast Guard. He worked for Middletown Twp. in their traffic maintenance department painting signs and such. William was a high school and pop warner football coach in several shore towns over the years. He was a huge military history buff and enjoyed watching John Wayne movies.
William is survived by his brother John Burns and his wife Diana of Port Monmouth, his niece Kelly and great nephew Joshua.
Friends are invited to attend committal services in the Chapel at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran's Cemetery, Providence Line Rd., Arneytown, NJ at 11am on Wednesday, July 18th.
