Judith Scott McGee

AGE: 72 formerly of Belford

Judith Scott McGee, 72, passed away peacefully Friday evening,17, Feb. 2012 surrounded by her loving family at the St. Barnabas Hospice Center in Long Branch, NJ. She was born and raised in Belford, NJ. She graduated from Leonardo High School and worked for the Dept. of Defense at Fort Monmouth until moving to Lewisville, AR. with her family in 1970. She retired from Gov't Service after a long and fulfilling career culminating with the Farm Services Department in Lafayette County, AR. Judy was a life long baseball fan and also passionately followed her beloved New York Giants and Arkansas Razorbacks.

Judy was greatly loved and is survived by her life time friend and companion, John Rue and her children; John McGee, Jr. and his wife Kathy; James McGee and his wife Nikki; Diane Rue; Paul Rue and many adoring grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In honor of Judy's wishes, relatives and friends are invited to attend a public viewing Sunday 19, Feb. 2012, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Scott Kedz Funeral Home 153 Church St. in Belford. Additionally, there will be a service at Scott Kedz on Monday 20, Feb. 2012 at 1130 am. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Middletown.

Her family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the wonderful and compassionate staff of the St. Barnabas Hospice Center. For online and condolences please visit www.parselsfuneralhome.com.

We both loved her so much......She was like a sister to us.........Jim and Judy had a very special relationship.......He was her boss, but he needed her for so much......she always helped him through his most difficult times........She was the person who brought us together in marriage...
